It is a type of fundraiser.  Normally local celebrities (like the TV anchors or radio DJs) volunteer to be servers, and their tips go to the charity.  Are you going to be the servers, or are you going to have dinner there to support the charity?  If you are going to have dinner, tip well!  It's for charity after all!

Only restaurants that have the money to ask a celebrity to come into their 'straunt to serve the hungry people. It usually acts as a surprise for most people who actually know that celebrity. I wonder who will be at the restaurant you will go to?  =((=
