  1. You know, i'm not sure what a nasi kuning is... but drink green tea [not bottled, fresh brewed] it will stop you from being hungry and raise your metabolism. I'm sure you need it. Good luck.

  2. LOL I'm always hungry too. Seriously, I'm just sitting there and I look up and I've gone through 5 packets of crisps! The weird thing is though, I'm not fat! If anything I'm skinny! These are some of the reasons 'we' might be eating a lot

    1. Are you starting to go through puberty? When you have a growth spurt you tend to eat quite a lot.

    2. Do you play a lot of sports? You will just be burning off all the food, so you'll get hungrier, quicker.

    I hope this helps!

    Bye!!! :)

  3. Pls don't eat junk food as researches has proved that babies born will love junk foods if mums used to eat them aplenty.

  4. yeah u are pregnant. its normal to eat all the time hehehe. I love the special feeling.

everybody told me not to eat sweet stuff when i was pregnant but being the stubborn me, i whack all the chocolates, sarsi cordials and ice creams. now my son is almost 1 year old. My handsome little tyrant is hyper active.

  5. sometimes i'm like that too but you have to choose to eat only the healthy stuff... control yourself!!

  6. Thats because you havent had enough protein....you need some fish or meat too...or if you are vegetarian then beans or pulses.

  7. Eat healthy - more protein for your baby, and to prepare for your recovery once you give birth. Your body will recover more quickly from the stress of giving birth, if you have enough protein because this is what helps your wounds heal.

Try eating 2 eggs a day, good source of protein is the egg whites. If you keep consuming processed foods like those crackers and ice-cream, the preservatives aren't good for you and the baby. The best is to take natural sources of carbohydrates like wholemeal bread, fruits, muesli and grains. Rice is alright, but not too much at one go because it just makes you sleepy or extremely lethargic.

  8. Yes DR . WU, you are in Dining Out - General Malaysia so expect some weird food's name.

That's too little la butterfly. hehe... i expect 4 plates of nasi kuning for lunch haha...

  9. Feed your craving! I get like that too its usually linked to pms.

  10. what's better than a sweet bowl of cendol and a plate of rojak at time like these!?

  11. Of course you're hungry! A growing baby requires an unbelievable amount of energy, and it has to get all of that energy from your body. Your body gets all of its energy from the food you eat. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, eat as often and as much as it takes to not be hungry all of the time.

Don't eat only things like fried food and sweets, though. You need the calories for yourself and for the baby, but you both also need nutrients to stay healthy. Eat a variety of healthy foods to get the full range of vitamins and minerals. I don't know much about Malaysian food, but lots of fruits, vegetables, and lean meats are good for you even if the specific vegetables and meats you have are a little different from what I'd find here. Pregnant women are sometimes warned to limit how much fish and other seafood they eat, though, because it can contain large amounts of mercury.

I do hope that you've been seeing a doctor regularly for pre-natal check-ups to ensure your health and your baby's health. If you have specific questions about what you should or shouldn't be eating, your doctor can probably offer some advice.

Oh, and by the way, congratulations!

  12. ala...pigila makan tu paku pakis... baru kenyang...

  13. high metabolism maybe??  Just don't eat so much that you need gastro surgery.
