ON my fantasy baseball team how many pitchers can I have pitching that one day that can get me points?

ok so on my fantasy baseball team. I have 3 starter picthing that day. then 3 empty slots. can I put relief pitchers there for me to get points? or can i pick up more starting pitchers pitching that day to put in there. so do the P slots get points for me if a pitcher is in that slot and pitchiing that day

you can put any pitcher in the P slots. it will count

Any SP or RP can go into the P slots. If you are in a H2H league you should try to keep these filled if you have enough players on your roster. That is not always possible due to roster size limitations.

However if you are in a roto league, you probably have season innings restrictions to be aware of. In that case you want to use only the better pitchers and not someone just to fill a slot.
