I live in Ontario and don't have a credit card, so I can't apply for the documents online...which sucks, because I know its only $35. I have to get my birth certificate, my son's birth certificate & SIN card, my fiance needs his birth certificate, SIN card and G license. I know how to go about it, but I'm trying to figure out how much money to put aside before I do?

  1. Replacement Birth Certificates are $35 each, assuming you were all born in Ontario.

Applying for a new SIN card is free; there is a $10 charge to replace a card.

If your fiance only needs a replacement drivers licence (he lost the card), there is a $10 charge. A new licence is $75 for 5 years, plus testing if applicable.
