ONE WEEK TO DO MIDDLE SPLITS. is it possible?

with stretching for about 2-2.5 hours everyday?

  1. stay in the middle splits as long as you can without crying. ha ha. roll through them. While you watch t.v. or read be in the middle splits.

    it took me a few months to do forward splits.

    box splits are harder.

    you have to have limber hips and muscles in the first place.

    just keep practicing

    sounds like your doing a good amount of stretching.

    you just have to judge how much you have tog o.

  3. well it depends how far you have to go. Some people it takes longer and some people are just naturally more flexible.  I think it may be possible if youre already somewhat close...just dont overdo it and you should get your muscles warmed up before you stretch...a good stretch for that would be the wall stretch. lay on your back with your butt against the wall and put your legs out in a straddle and gravity will help pull them down

  4. It depends how far you have to go. Don't get your hopes up if you are more than a few inches from completing the splits.

    That being said, make sure that you are very warm before you stretch. If not, the best outcome to hope for are torn muscles and injury.

    BUT, you can get close.

    Strech all of your other streches before you do them and sit in them while oyu watch tv or talk on the phone

  6. Well, if you have to go all the way down....... you should do it gradually, don't stress your muscles out, 2 hours is alot, just stretch differebt muscles for an hour and a half TOTAL, if not your going to be SUPER sore. and an hour and a half is pushing it in my opinion.

  8. it is not possible unless you force it. you dont want to force it becuase you can really hurt yourself. when you stretch for splits each time your muscles tear and they grow back which makes you more flexible. your body wont be able to handle it unless your naturally flexible. itll take more time than a week to do your splitss. it took me about 3 months to get mine.
