  1. Have u tried opening her mouth with your hands or if that dosen't work try putting some food that it really likes in front of it and maybe it will just spit it out.

  2. Take it out!!! you don't want her to do the same again and stick to shredded paper, it's harmless if she eats it.

  3. Unless she actually eats it, I think she will be fine.

She has it in her pouches so she can probably later make a bed, etc.

Just keep an eye on her - she will be fine

    =)

  4. You shouldn't give your hamster cotton wool!! Only give her the pet bedding or sopme torn up kitchen roll - NOT tissue paper.

Hopefully your hamster will spit it out when she gets bored of having it in her pouches - I wouldn't worry about the bulging it's probably where she has stuffed her cheeks full - If she hasn't taken it out in a few hours it may be worth taking her to the vets so they can remove it for her.

  5. She is just trying to try and see if it is edible, my rabbit did the same thing

and he was fine, but I don't know if cotton is good for bedding.

  6. Well first of all, you need to get proper Hamster bedding, or try a different stuff, like shredded paper.

And secondly, probably not, they just store food in their cheeks so they can take it home and eat it [obviously its already home but he'll/she'll just eat it later.] I'd say just take it all out his/her cage, get some other stuff and just simply keep an eye on him/her. If he/she look ill just take him/her to the vets.

    Hope i helped.

  7. take a small wooden spoon and spank her. Use conditioning.

  8. you totally murdered your hamster!!! Everyone knows cotton ball beds are the leading cause of accidental hamster death in the united states!

nah im just kidding, i have no idea. why dont you just reach in and pull the cotton out?

  9. well , hamsters do that .

they also stick food in there

    or anything else they can.

but if you want ti out then squeeze her cheeck [ not hard ]

or open her mouth and take it out .

my hamsters do that to , and her cheeck do cover her eyes.

but shes not going to die.

  10. the hamster will be just fine. i have one named noah and his bead is made out of cotton. the most likely thing with rodents such as bunnies, hamsters, ferrets, and mice is that when you give them new bedding they will put it in their mouth just to see. it will realize that it cant eat the cotton and take it out of their mouth. also their cheeks will bulge a lot b/c they LOVE to store food for later in their cheeks. your hamster is fine, don't worry! :)

  11. You should really just stick with the bedding that is avalible for hamsters in the pet shops. They are made to avoid worries like this. And keep hamster snuggly warm.

If hamster eats the hamster bedding you get from the petshop...then she is just moving it around.

  12. First off why would you put cotton balls in her cage instead of the regular bedding. Because her eyes are bulging try to get some tweezers and open up her mouth and try to get the cotton balls. Or, call the vet and rush him/her there ASAP.

  13. Leave it she will spit it out when she wants

  14. she did not eat it, hamsters have sorta like pockets in their cheeks and they stuff food in it or bedding and later spit it out and if it's food they can put it in their cheeks and spit it out and later eat it,she won't die from it hamsters stuff their cheeks alot the reason they stuff their cheeks with bedding is because they might want to make a pile in their cage maybe in a corner so that they can sleep comfortably.because they can't carry things like we do so they stuff their cheeks and spit it outt

  15. She's put it in her pouch. This is where they store food. But they also transport bedding here. It is completely normal.

Don't use cotton wool, however, unless it is natural. Try using unbleached toilet roll with carefresh.

EDIT: Take it out and replace it with the above.
