  1. There are a number of sites that are known for their great reputation in the online gambling business.  They'd have a LOT to lose if there was any rigging of software going on.  And it wouldn't be hard for a disgruntled ex-employee to blow the whistle on some of these sites and shut them down for good if they knew there was software rigging.

The house always will have an edge, and with online gambling, there is more due to the increased hands per hour.  Though, with proper bankroll management, you can still have fun as you would in a casino.  Check http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm for a list of great sites and bonus codes.  Hope this helps.

  2. Excellent answer Potsie and the same is true of poker sites where the fairness of the shuffle is independantly verified and is actually more random then a human shuffled deck.  Plus with poker sites players are playing against each other and they don't care who wins what since they get their share of the take (rake) from all the play on there regardless.

  4. Sure, with smaller sites in foreign lands, you just never know.

The major sites have a vested interest in being fair.  And keep in mind that no casino game is truly fair; they always have a house edge (except poker where they don't care who wins).

The real issue in America is Bush signed into law a total nonsense rider to another bill that made it illegal for almost all gambling offered by American companies.  You can bet horses online, trade stocks and bonds, play certain fantasy sports games, but that's about it.  God knows why certain gambling got a free pass and the rest didn't, I can only assume some politician got bribed at some point.

But the fact is while Americans are dealing with foreign casinos in foreign lands, we will never truly trust them.

Now if the next government gets real and chooses to legalize, regulate and tax American companies offering online gambling it will be much better.

After all, wouldn't you trust an online Wynn Casino regulated by the Nevada Gaming Commission based in Las Vegas?  Or how about Harrahs, or Bellagio?  Of course you would.

Apparently the Bush administration never figured out that prohibition is dumb and adults should be free to gamble if they wish to with their own money.

  5. While there are many scam sites out there that continue to steal money from the very clients that keep them in busiess, there are quite a few that are way above board and go to huge lengths to keep it that way.  Most of the sites that I play at are audited by third party accounting firms to determine their payout percentage for every casino game.  The sites I play at offer a payout percentage of over 97 percent.  These reputable sites have too much to lose by cheating their loyal clients while scam sites have to continually recruit new victims with 'too good to be true' bonuses and the like.  Poker sites on the other hand don't really benefit from who wins or loses as their profit is taken right off of the top from every pot.  They have no stake in who wins or loses.  With that said there have been some scandals involving 'inside jobs' with AP and UB (same site really) but those were situations for personal gain for those few individuals involved.  The bottom line is really to read independent reviews such as those found at http://GamblingReviewsSite.com and use common sense.  I can wholeheartedly recommend every site listed at that link as I've used all of them for years and never had any problems cashing out or otherwise.  Take care.

  6. There is no need to the online casinos to cheat players because they have the advantage over a player anyway.

Simple example. European Roullete. It has 37 numbers (including zero) but if a player wins he gets paid x36 (not 37). Well in other words this single 'zero' is the casino advantage.

Any Casino has the house edge no matter what the game is. In plain words it means that Maths are with the Casino at all times (sometimes in Blackjack a player can have an advantage over the casino, but it takes years and hard work to know when).  None of these companies are willing to ruin their reputation and business by changing the odds in their software.

Secondly, there are organizations which control and regularly check casinos random number generators and there is no room for tolerance there. License will be taken for ever.

  8. Its true you could take a big risk from stuff like this but it would be very easy to make alot of cash out of this because in there terms of service ect and cheating in gambling is a felony they could get sued for alot so I would advise going to a pretty famous online casino and this most likely won't happen because its the internet if some one wanted to they could find out.
