I am about to open a billiard hall/bar and I need input from EXPERIENCED individuals who actuall HAVE or HAVE HAD similar establishments. I am looking to know how much I can expect each bar box table to generate per week. Also the juke box, the touch screens, the video games etc. I know that there are variables, but in general I need to know what to expect.

  1. If you are leasing the equipment from a vendor, you will only get a percentage of the weekly take. But repairs are taken care of by the vendor.

But if you own your own tables and machines you will make more, but then you will have to replace and repair all the parts and re-felt the tables by yourself. Plus the first time you replace a system board in a modern jukebox you'll be kicking yourself. Not to mention the touch screen games, the repairs can get expensive on those(replacing hard drives, upgrades, worn touch screens). Plus replacing house sticks, ect..........

  2. only had two coin op bar boxes in one room w/ 15 41/2 x 9's and they generated $300-500/week. Talked to bar owners who have one bar box and it generates $700 to $1200/ week.
