...have had their hair chemically straightened

I want to get my hair chemically straightened but i want to get it bio ionic straightened beacuse I heard it is better for your hair than normal perm. straightening,

-is this permanent?

-how much does it cost?

-how often will I have to get it redone?

-how much does the redoing cost?

-do I need to buy any corresponding shampoos/conditioners?

-is it worth the money?

-is it effective?

-can you get it done at a normal salon?

-how do they do it?

-will it make your hair fall out?

and also do you have any before/after picts that I can see, I would like to see the effictevness. Thanks in advance

  1. Bio-Ionic straightening is permanent.  You will have to get it touched up 3-4 times a year depending on how curly your regrowth is.  It costs anywhere from $300-$600 dollars depending where you live.  The touch up is usually half of the original cost.  Bio-Ionic makes great shampoo and conditioner but you don't have to use them.  But you should you professional shampoos and conditioners for your hair type.  It is worth the money if you have really curly unmanageable hair.  It will make your hair feel smooth and shiny.  Stylists need to be certified which means they have taken a class from a Bio-Ionic Instructor.  the process takes about 3-4 hours.  A straightening cream is put on the hair-then rinsed and blowdried-then flat ironed-then neutralized then blowdried.  Your hair will not fall out.  Go to Bio-Ionic website to find a certified salon/stylist in your area.  You will also see pics.  Make sure the person who does it has certification and experience.
