ONLY if you know about Ouija/the paranormal? Why is my board doing this?

I've noticed that when I use my Ouija board, for some reason, it rarely gives me spelled answers anymore, it usually just gives me Yes or No, and if I ask for a number answer it will give me a number, but rarely use the letters for anything. It usually even goes around the letters instead of through to get to Yes or No.

Also, an incense spark got onto the board a few months ago and we had to mash it out. Now the planchette avoids that spot at all costs, even if it has to almost say No before it goes over to Yes.

And the strange thing is...if I do not cover the picture at the bottom left corner with something, the energy pools there and the planchette just hovers in that spot and seems to get stuck, like energy quicksand.

Why is my board doing these things?

It's not doing it.  You are.  The board works through the ideomotor effect - you're moving the planchette yourself, whether you realize it or not.  This is easily proven - blindfold yourself, set up a video camera, rotate the board to some random angle you don't know, and try to answer questions.  You won't get anything - because you can't see the board and you're doing it yourself.

Maybe there is something in your incense you spirits don't like... And maybe you are getting spirits that didn't know how to spell in life and that is making out though your board..

You might want to bless your board since they can be a bad way to talk to spirits.. You never know what you are going to get.. I've seen these boards be burned and show back up.. Be careful with the board..

Eri is right, I know it really feels like it is moving itself but you and your friends are pushing it without even realising it. I have tried it myself before I knew how it worked and it seemed really freaky to me then.

take eri's advice and record it if the thing still avoids those points asume the bord is damaged (thats right, damaged)even if its like any other game board whatever is moving it seems particular or it could be what eri said. if the recording follows the same pattern as normal then wala get a new board- experimenting with the new one looking for pattens

but if the recording dose not follow your normal bord patterns then eri is correct and your mind is playing tricks on you

Are you familiar with the ideomotor effect?  If you are then you can surmise quite a bit about the planchette's apparent behavior.

Personally, I use The Psychic Circle. Google it. It allows for more options on the board and is more aimed to positive spirits. I have used the Ouija board, and I was not happy with the outcome. We were on it for about 8 hours straight and alot of people thought we were moving it, so we all got blindfolded and looked at the ceiling while someone else wrote down the answers. It is very real. We discovered alot of negative energies surrounding us. And alot of things that were better left unspoken. Good Luck!
