i need help with this short story. i can't seem to find an onomatopoeia and a simile

  1. Onomatopoeia: Whizzed (from "There was a flash and a bullet whizzed over his head")

    Simile: Here and there through the city, machine guns and rifles broke the silence of the night, spasmodically, like dogs barking on lone farms.
