  1. is that in thousands?

    heck, *I'm* worth $300k

or is that how much to buy him off?

  2. No, I did not know that either.

  3. $227,000 is still a lot less than 150-190 Million. Therefore Biden would still;l be more appealing to the average American than Mitt. He can better relate to us, and is less likely to have engaged in shady dealings than Mitt

  4. How much is Cindy McCain's half-sister worth?

Last time she tried to use her credit card, it was declined because Cindy took the entire family fortune...

BTW folks... if you think punching a few buttons on a blackberry is "earning" your money, you have no concept of what it is to be an American or a decent person in general...

  5. Actually, I just heard on Hardball that his net worth is 100,000 - 150,000.  This is definitely not an elitist...

  6. How much is Cindy McCain worth?

    In: Political Office Holders  [Edit]

It is hard to say, since her holdings in Hensley and Co., her Budweiser beer distributorship, are not known and the company currently seems undervalued.

She may own a majority share of the company, and it grosses $300 million annually. The current market value of Hensley is approximately $250 million, but if it were valued like a .com company, it's value would be about 4 X annual gross revenue, which would make it worth $1.2 billion.

The most conservative estimates say that she is worth around $100 million, and that is probably about right, considering that she could not just dump her stock and have it retain its value. However, through financial mergers/acquisitions, increased beer consumption, Hensley could become worth billions (like if John McCain becomes president and Budweiser suddenly becomes more of a symbol of America). In that case, she could become a billionaire ... almost as rich as John Kerry's wife.

The most authoritative article I have found on the topic is this one ...

  7. I just saw his net worth is between $100-150, 000.

Not much at all, but he came from blue collar and never made much money. He took out a second mortgage to pay for one of his kids education.

Bottom line- he is more like the avg. person than anyone.

  8. That means Joe can actually relate to the AVERAGE American with ONE house and a mortgage

Seems to me we need someone like that in a major leadership role

  9. Who cares how much money they have. Everyone in politics is richer than the average American. And since when is being successful a bad thing? I'd be more concerned about someone who doesn't own 7 houses. Being successful in the private sector shows you ahve some skills and smarts, if you were broke you weren't very good in your job and why shoudl you be Pres?

  10. I guess the man can relate to the middle class then, huh?

  11. You can't trust that because it leaves out lobbyist money and the fact that Cindy McCain alone is worth at least $500 million, yet that's not reflected in that chart.

  12. LOL...that's funny, you said..."OOPS!...My bad!"

Isnt this supposed to be a serious question?

    Thanks for "lightening" it up.

    Peace!

  13. The last time I checked, the U.S. was a capitalist country....and will continue to be one unless Barry gets elected. Mitt Romney made his money because he was willing to take risks and has some brains. These concepts are probably foreign to you.

  14. If that is true he can't manage his own finances and we are supposed to put him a heartbeat away from controlling a 7 trillion dollar economy?? Don't think so..

  15. Interesting considering the garage of his home is probably worth more than that.  But then I tend to read these links and read this:

To calculate net worth, shown here, CRP added together the lawmaker's range of assets and then subtracted their range of liabilities.

Is Biden a typical Liberal who lives above his means?  Perhaps he's expecting Barack to add on to his net worth.

  16. That's it?  My dad is worth more than that.
