Does this mean the LH surge is over and I already O'd, or I am about to O anytime now? We bd on CD 7, CD 9--the first +OPK day. CD10 +OPK but could not bd. Today is CD 11, - OPK but plan to bd. Basically it is working out to be ev. other day. (can't help this). Am I still ok, or miss the boat b/c did not bd yesterday?

  1. You either ovulated today or yesterday. When you get a +opk that means you are likely to ovulate in 12-24 or 24-36 hours (depending on which brand you're using) so you caught the beginning of the surge on the first day that you got the + and you caught the end of it on the 2nd day. You should definitely BD today as you are either Oing right now or have already....just cover your bases to be sure.

  2. As long as you have a good amount of fertile cervical mucus, the sperm will be protected and can live up to 5 days waiting for the egg.

Sounds like you're good according to the OPK .  You will probably ovulate today and egg lives for 12-24 hours, so do make love as soon as possible today, deep penetration so sperm can make their way to the fallopian tubes as quickly as possible.
