OPK help!!!!! faint, darker, darker, darker???

Question

i tested yesterday and the line was VERY faint. today it was darker and way noticeable that it was there, but not as dark as the control line. does it keep getting darker and darker until you reach your peak time?? or is it just different ever time and then really dark when you are ovulating??

i just dont know if since its getting darker, if i'm getting closer and closer, or if it just does that.

Mine would usually get darker and darker. However, with certain OPKs (specifically Clear Blue Easy and Answer) I would have a hard time telling if the test line was in fact dark enough.

I decided to switch to Clearblue Easy digital OPK and it was great - I actually took that one and a traditional line OPK at the same time. The line OPK didn't look quite positive to me but the Clearblue was positive with a smiley face (circle for no ovulation). I got pregnant using the digital.
