I don't watch Oprah but I did hear awhile ago that she was going vegan for 3 weeks, but I didn't hear anything about it afterwards. I tried to go to her site to see what's up and found nothing.
I myself is a vegetarian and when I heard she was going vegan I thought it was just another one of those things Oprah does to try cause attention to herself, her show and to grab more zombies. I never trusted that she was really interested in veganism and sharing what she learned about it with her followers/viewers.
Apart of me gave her the benefit of the doubt, believed that maybe she was genuinely concerned about her health and her involvement in animal products. I thought it would be cool for her to bring to light the vegan/vegetarian lifestyle. I was hoping that maybe she would bring to light the very real concern of animal welfare, how meat is produced, what's in meat (how the animals are fed), amongst a lot of other stuff. But seemly none of that happen. The whole subject seemed to drop from the face of the earth (as expected).
I could be wrong. Do you have any juice on what happen to Oprah's vegan lifestyle challenge?
