OPT application problem?

i recently applied for my OPT and received my application receipt after a few days. Unfortunately, my name was spell wrongly! Can some please advice me on what to do and if this would make my application even longer to be processed?

If your name was spelled incorrectly on your OPT application form, this may be a problem when US immigration views your paperwork.

What you need to do is contact an international student adviser at your school, and inform him/her that your name was spelled incorrectly on your application form. They will able to contact immigration on your behalf through sevis to sort out the error. You need to get on this ASAP to avoid any more discrepancies.
