ORANGE COUNTY, CA - How is the traffic on I-55 from Orange to Costa Mesa (and back) during rush hours?

I am looking at places to live and the place I currently looking at requires a 7.9 mile commute on I-55 to my office. Is this an extreme commute or is this reasonable. My office is right around South Coast Plaza.

Depends on the time of the morning. Could be anything from 10 to 35 minutes......... Where ya coming from Tustin or Orange?

Depends which way you're going and what time.  I'd say during rush hour, if you're going from Orange to Costa Mesa in the morning, allow 40 minutes.
