ORANGE INDICATOR KEEPS FLASHING

Question

I have a Krups FNA2 espresso mashine that has worked prfectly for three years. This morning the orange light indicating the reservoir for the empty cups is full was flashing so I empties it. After I emptied the reservoir I put it bach in the mashine but the orange indicator is still flashing and won't stop. Result I can't make coffee. I tried reinserting the reservoir a number of times and cleaned the mashine thoroughly but the indicator flashes none the less. Can you help me?
