  1. 1,000,000+ Windows viruses, no released MacOS X viruses. What's to decide?

  2. Windows has the most supported software and available programs - generally speaking.

Mac - Dunno, I've never liked it...

Linux - I used it once, but I am a gamer, and almost all of the games I play are windows based. So this was really a pain to me, not much to do.

HOWEVER! If I was not a gamer, I would probably pick this over windows.

  3. Linux is like out of the question. 2nd windows i retarded that a year ago tired of the slowness crashes. Long boot up time. 3rd OSX i think is the best. Fast boot up time. FAst response time have had no crashes since i goy it, a year. I love it, whats not to love about a mac. And dont say the price. Lol

  4. If you will purchase OS-X they claim and its proven that they are VIRUS free.

If you will purchase LINUX, this is a FREE OS why purchase it. Linux claims to be highly secure and indeed it is.

WINDOWS, they claim everything but the said OS is the main target of hackers because of the money involve.

  5. You're provoking a bloody battle of the fanboys....

I prefer Linux. I use all three regularly, but consider Linux my native environment.

I have my praises for all three, and my gripes for all three, but Linux suits my needs best. I am a web programmer and server admin, and Linux's (Gnu's) network transparent tools and open environment make it easy to do my work and be productive.

Those who knock a platform simply because it "sucks", or glorifies a platform without giving a legitimate argument as to why, need to curb the bias. Computers are not intended for one purpose, therefore a "superior" all-purpose OS simply doesn't exist.

Also, most of you who knock a certain OS really don't have the experience to make that claim. No, trying it for a few days doesn't count. USE it for months, then see if it *really* sucks, or if it's just you being intolerant and unwilling to adapt to the differences.

  6. I prefer windows for two reasons, one, I am loyal to widows and have always used windows (no matter how bad it is), and I can go in and tweak the settings compared to a mac where you have no control of the OS.
