OSU : Overrated State University

I hope everyone related to the college of ohio state and its sports teams gets eaten by the ap polls computer. They are  VERYYYYYY overated. Honeslty. EVEN MICHIGAN WON THERE BOWL GAME! What did ohio state do. Oh yeah. They choked again. Now you might say oh your only saying that because your a Michigan fan. Yes I am a Maize and Blue fan and I still think Ohio State sucks and they are way overated. So all you Ohio State happy go lucky were better than you fans Go die.

Depends. If you are a Michigan fan, then, no they are obviously not overrated, just overhated. But if you are a fan of any SEC team, then you're saying yes, they are overrated - unless of course it's the nat'l championship game. Then, you're pushing for them to be there every year for an easy win

they are not overrated...it's a bummer they have lost in 2 straight championship games....but the big ten is a tough schedule week in week out...every week teams get beat up in the big ten. Even northwestern will hit you and beat you up. It's a tough league that beats each other up...they are good.....

do your homework first there young man....a 2-1 record against SEC teams in bowl games last season; an 8-6 record against SEC teams in bowl games the last five years; and 15 BCS berths to the SEC's 13. Big Ten teams have produced five Heisman Trophy winners in the past 15 years, compared to the SEC's one.

sure their are weak teams...I said that ..I also said no matter who the team is they BEAT EACH OTHER UP WEEK IN WEEK OUT....having never played the game I guess you wouldn't know what a painful win feels like.....

If you got a problem with OSU being overrated, then you should be whining about the BCS instead of OSU.  Since when does OSU vote themselves into the championship game?  

Overrated or not, OSU is still getting some of the best prospects around the country.

here is my thought...Ohio State is 6-1 against michigan since tressel became coach

ohio state is 4-2 in bcs bowl games

ohio state is 6-5 in bowl games since the BCS started (4-2 in the big games)

Their recent ownage of the Big Ten

compare those stats to teams you believe not to be overrated...keep in mind winning seasons, BCS bowl game appearances, BCS bowl game winning percentage and overall bowl game appearance

A team you believe is overrated in a conference that is overrated, but in fact it is a conference that has 5 teams in the preseason top 25...Pac 10 has 3, SEC has 5, Big 12 has 5...you tell me who is overrated

of course it is hard to convince someone that doesn't even think their own team is good or is in fact, overrated...so I have a hard time beleiving you are a. a true college football fan that is full of un-scientific opinion or b. that you are even a michigan fan

my gut tells me you are some conference fan...uh em (SEC), that poses as a michigan fan...

Over-rated, no, chokers, yes.

They constantly send many high draft pick players to the NFL, and they beat nearly everyone on their schedule. They cannot choose their conference schedule, but they usually breeze through it, and everyone picks a couple cake teams for their non-conference games.

Outside of the Miami National Championship game, the Buckeyes have just came up lame in the big game. Part of it, I attribute to always playing in warm weather, with Columbus being a cold-weather city (the same thing always happened to the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowls). There's something about cold teams withering in the heat of the final game.

Along those same lines, I'm disappointed that USC won't play in Columbus next year when it's cold. I guess that's too much of a handicap for those Pac-10 teams.

Scoreboard, Sports-fan, scoreboard. Meatchicken will lose this year to OSU, just like they did last year, even with your spread offense.

well they have such easy schedules year in and year out and no one ever takes note of it.  They cant win the big game, and you just wait till september when they go out to USC.

if OSU is overrated, UofM is blown out of proportion.  It looks like you just want to argue your point rather then get others opinions.

Edit: Ok my opinion on a National level, they are a bit overrated, on a BIG10 level - they aren't.  Does that make sense?
