  1. What about your accessories (shoes, lingerie, headpiece, veil)? Those can add up to more then the dress!

Also, have you factored in tax and tip for your vendors? The tip for catering is usually 20% of the total food and beverage costs and it's not optional.

I saw you included ceremony flowers but what about guest table centerpieces, or linens and favors. Do you want linens in your wedding colors or it white ok? Do you plan given your guest a favor? Favors are optional. We are banking cookies in the shape of an "M" (last name initial) as our favors.

  2. depends where you are getting suits from then that is way underestimated!!

we looked around and the cheapest from a bridal suit shop was 100 for a suit and that was with everything.

you can get them on line cheap to.

its nice to see someone who is spending tens of thousands on a wedding.

i think mine was between 4500-6000 and  got the lot with that

    well done you

  3. invitations, jewelry, veil, guestbook, favors, marriage license, cake knife/server, toasting glasses, garters???

  4. I think you are underestimating on,

mens suit hire- the cheapest we could find was £250 for 5.

Cerenony room + registrar. the fee for our registrar was £300 alone and then we had licence fees which were £60.

Apart from that it looks ok. Don't forget stuff like hair and make up, accessories and honeymoon though.

    Good luck with the wedding!!

  5. Sounds like you. have it all covered.  No transport needed because you are getting married in the same venue as the reception.

I bought a 3 tier wedding cake, 2 layers fruit and 1 layer sponge for £115 from M&S, other stores eg waitrose, tesco also sell wedding cakes and have some good pictures on their websites.  This might be cheaper and easier than going with someone you know.

You just need to work out what you are doing about booze for the reception and the evening.

    Good luck

  6. Apart from transport (I guess family are doing that) it appears you`ve covered everything and on a good small budget, even if you spent the bare minimum you`ll still enjoy the day and remember it for the rest of your life,Nice to read of someone not spending £20,000 on a wedding

  7. Have you gotten gifts for your wedding party? Are you going to have a guest book/attendant?

    Congrats!!

  8. this is not too bad does your wedding breakfast include evening buffet i think possibly the suit hire may cost a little more obviously depending on what you want definatly gifts for those involved i have got a max budget of £5000 so hoping to keep all my costs down too not sure how much a marriage license is either and what about the honeymoon also if you buy your accessories from a normal shop ie not bridal you will save a fortune as well and week days are cheaper than weekends!
