  1. NO

  2. the only way to "own" a tiger is to either start up a zoo or create a sanctuary for the tigers. this enviroment will have to meet certain requirements set by the government. an official must coem and evaluate the landscape before you can obtain a liscence.

  3. All exotic animals are prohibited imports except to zoos. That includes lions, tigers, bears and even hamsters.

  4. It appears that the theme park industry (Village Road Show) is after our Werribee Open Range Zoo in Victoria, perhaps you have enough dollars to buy into that and you can have all the lions you like! lol

Personally I think they should stay away from our animals, their life is peaceful as it is, see the web page below.

  5. I've just looked on the Queensland Government Prohibited Pets list at http://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/cps/rde/dpi/hs...  and no mention of yours, however, I can't even own a Rabbit, with or without a permit here, so don't hold out much hope for your Lion !

However, the Australian government website for animal import permits is at: www.daff.gov.au

Hope you get the info you need from them.
