  1. Just pluck up the courage and go to this oxo tower.....

  2. Well i went there on a date once and i thought it was amazing. You can sit out on the balcony bit but it may be shut due to the season. We sat by the window...althought the tables are close by you dont notice or can hear the convo next door so that wasnt an issue for me. the service was good and food amazing. I went with a head chef and he rated it which is always a good sign. They had live jazz band which was amazing and played all night...

  3. Been there once. It has a breathtaking skyline view.  The food is not the best.  The service is ok.  You really don't get what you pay for considering the high prices.  It's more of a fist date or anniversary dinner place.  The best part about the entire experience is the view.

  4. No never tried,,but I do like the gravy

  5. I've been there three times- unfortunatley and each time was awful. Had to go there once for after work drinks- terribly overpriced cocktails satrt at £10 upwards!! Then for my Nan's 50th birthday- great view, slow awful service and bad cold food, then lastly a hen do about a month ago. Bit better as they laid on a special table, but food was just as bad, waiting for ever to be served.. however the waiters for pretty gorgoeus:) Trust me do not take her there for food- if she's into 's*x in City' sytle places why not take her to Claridges, 'Blue Elephant restaurant' or 'Nobu'. all the celebs there, just as expensive ( actually maybe cheaper) and very stylish. Please do not go to OXO- you'll regret it..

  6. How about Harvey Nichs or the Wolsley.......depends if you're foodies or just posing. Don't mean that in a rude way, just that there are many good eateries. However, the Wolsley will set you back a bit. We took our daughter to the Ivy for lunch and that is pricey but not over the top and the treat went down a treat!!!

  7. I'm so sorry mate, but I just had to say - please be careful how you word your questions! I burst out laughing at: "she's been badgering me for some time to take her up the OXO Tower."! ROFL!

Sorry but haven't heard of it myself, but will look it up now. And if she wants to go there so much then take her! She'll love the gesture even if she doesn't end up liking the place. Have fun!

  8. I've never eaten there, but the bar does to amazing cocktails, and you get a really great view!  I also heard to request a window seat while you are booking, as some of the tables are not as good as others...

I've been wanting to try it for a while aswell, but I dont live in London anymore...oh well! never mind!

  9. my friend has been there and he said that its quite over priced...but it was a nice meal. wouldnt bother going there again though

  10. SO FOR SO GOOD

    enjoy yourself
