No way she deserves Churchill tribute ?

I am in no way a Thatcher fan, however, she did stand up to terrorists and  terrorism, and I think the residents of the Falkland Islands were grateful they were not abandoned to the Argentinians.

Love her or hate her she was a larger than life public figure and stood by her decisions, we might not have agreed with some of them, but she did what she believed was right, unlike todays politicians who change their mind depending on what the opinion polls show.

As I said I am not a fan, but I can't say I honestly begrudge her this honour, because she did do some god stuff which is now overlooked.

I can however see the miners lining the route with stone in hand  :)

Indeed! for God,s sake Why? and to think a labour prime minister is in discussions about how it will be carried out is mind boggling, what an insult to labour supporters throughout Britain, especially the miners, to them (borderslassuk) she was a terrorist. She would also have saddled us with the disgusting poll tax if she had been allowed to get away with it.

My memories of her was that she was evil, what further proof would be needed than her famous sad quote that there is no such thing as society. If this disgusting charade is allowed to go ahead I sincerely hope that for just one day there certainly is no such thing as society and nobody is there to witness it.
