Oakland Athletics Tommy Milone is a classic crafty pitcher, say experts
Some Major League Baseball experts are agree on the fact that the Oakland Athletics’ new pitcher Tommy Milone is a classic example of brilliance and will be dominating the game soon in the coming days.
Milone, who is coming from the Washington Nationals’ franchise, certainly possesses the right kind of abilities to dominate the game. His last season with the Nationals was average regarding his performance as he achieved just 2.91 ERA along with 2-0 win loss record, 15 strikeouts and 1.12 WHIP, but in the shadow of that particular performance, he is now working hard to improve these numbers with his new franchise.
Now seeing him pitching during the ongoing 2012 MLB season, experts are predicting as he is learning fast and soon will be standing among the best in the game.
Milone stated in the media regarding his game and explained, "I don't throw ... in the 90s, I've got to use both sides of the plate and (change) speeds to keep hitters off balance. I don't show emotion on my sleeve. It's kind of down inside. I feel like that's part of how I'm successful is, I don't really show any body language or anything. I just go out there and try to do what I know how.”
Later teammate and behind the plate catcher Kurt Suzuki said for Milone, "My job is to help guide him through the game, With Tommy, he's pretty calm and cool, so there's not really much that I need to do on that part."
This is a good sign for the A’s management that their one of the most promising pitchers is showing some early power plays and displaying signs of brilliance before the season starts towards championship race.
In the meanwhile, the Athletics are currently sitting in a comfortable place where they can see and plan their future games with full influence. The management along with A’s coaches know as they are at present standing in middle and to convert this position to top, they must play according to the plan and show other teams as they can lift this World Series trophy as well.
