Sources are reporting that the Oakland Athletics’ starting pitcher Brett Anderson is recovering fast from his Tommy John surgery and will be making a potential comeback in the upcoming Spring Training.
Recently, the Athletics’ manager Bob Melvin said in the media on Anderson’s rehab, “He's progressed beautifully, and a lot of it has to do with how he's conditioned himself. When you're a younger player, you think you're invincible -- and then something like this pops up, and you realize there are maybe some ways to further your career.”
Melvin added, “And sometimes it takes an event like that to give you that kind of awareness. He seems more energetic now, more confident in my conversations with him, more vocal.”
The Athletics’ seem already in aggressive mood while now it will give them more confidence to go with self-belief and become superior in their own Division. Anderson’s recovery alone can make real difference next season with his exceptional fast throwing. He is one of those players who do not rely on their skills but also play with full energy and take their respective teams to another level.
