Oasis Timanfaya Hotel, Lanzarote: Costa Teguise;600m from the beach?

Question

I am going to Lanzarote & am staying in Oasis Timanfaya hotel & was wondering has anyone been there & what did they think of its location due to beach? Is it far from the beach & is 600m a long way to walk to the beach everyday?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Its a lovely Island,and 600 m is nothing of a walk,it can get a little windy there but still remember the sun cream
