Oasis hookah lounge?

how is it that oasis lets minors order hookahs and smoke? do they do this illegally or do the minors lie about age or what? plz inform me :]

I guess the minors lie about their age. It is illegal to sell and distribute tobacco to minors under the age of 18 in America and I am sure an establishment would not risk their investment by selling to them on purpose. If it really bothers you then call the police, but keep in mind that makes you a snitch.

Most in U.S. require you to be at least 17 year of age an older to smoke hooka and 18 years of age to purchase (exceptions are Utah, Arizona and New York) Its flavored tobacco that you don't have to inhale, you just smoke it for the flavor. and it is legal, but minors under 17 will lie about their age to get in. Sometimes the person who checks the i.d. wil check a couple people in the group and if they're of age then they won't bother to check the rest of the people in the group's i.d's. Or if the person who checks i.d's knows one of the kids in the group then they won't bother to check their friends i.d's at all.

I went last year when i was like 15 and they didnt even ask any us for any of our i.ds. I guess they dont care since theyre trying to make money. They also sell like smoothies and other foods at oasis so they probably just look over the fact that your not old enough. It didnt turn out very good for them since the oasis by my house got closed down...

It is not illegal for minors to smoke, only to purchase tobacco products. Trust me, when I was in high school tons of kids would light up outside of campus right in front of the police watching us. Nothing ever happened.
