Obama's birth place,the place stated on his birth certificate not just hearsay?

I heard the other day,that Obama was not born in the U.S. If this is a fact,how can he be running for President,when it is a law you have to be a U.S born citizen in order to be eligible . Otherwise Calif. Gov. would have tried for the nomination I'm sure.

Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961.  His parents met while both were students at UH.

Actually, McCain wasn't born in the US, but on a military base in Central America.
