  1. He is a great politician. He knows how to give a good speech.

No he didn't sway my vote because I have been around long enough to know a slick talking phony politician when I hear one.

  2. I am voting for McCain but I thought Barack's speech was well written and well delivered.  He does well in that environment and if I thought that particular talent were important to being president, I would have to consider him.  But for me, it isn't that important that a president be able to work up a crowd.  I am more interested in what he believes and his policies.  What is being lost in the fervor of Barack's popularity is the fault of the American electorate.  I have an overwhelming fear that Americans no longer understand the difference in Thomas Jefferson and Karl Marx.  Hitler was a great orator.  Young Castro was able to work a crowd at least as well as Obama.  But in the excitement of 1930's Germany and the promises Hitler made to the youth of that country, only disaster and atrocity followed.  And today, Cubans take to sea on rafts to escape communist Cuba and the society Castro brought to bear on the people who once idealized him.  My advice to anyone who will listen is this.  Stop listening to the hype for a month,  Read Thomas Jefferson and then read Karl Marx.  If you will do so diligently, you will understand the problem many of us have with Barack Obama.

  3. Great and yes.

  4. He is going to win plain and simple. The best man will win!!!!!

  5. That was a worderful speech, he was so inspiring, i cried, i cheered with the crowd, and i wished they'd just elect him president already and save spending more campaign money-the republicans have no chance.

Right now in English we are studying rhetoric and reading famous speeches, like John Kennedy's , i think Obama's speech was so wonderful that it will be remembered for future generations in books also. He has great character and credibility, lots of knowledge, and is an everyday man who cares about America.

  6. I haven't watched it.I don't care :)

I like Mc.Cain more. However,it's all up to the Americans. :)

  7. His speech was very inspiring and persuasive too.  He seemed sincere and truly an advocate for change.  I would vote for him after that speech.

  8. Senator Obama's speech was fantastic.

  9. He's a good public speaker.

He really knows how to make a lot of promises and to push the buttons of the audience.
