Obama Supporters, how should I ask a question critical of Obama without offending you?

Granted I ask some pretty darn good questions...but you ignore them...

Like how does inflating your tires produce more oil...?

Like why didn't Obama condemn MoveOn.org immediately after the Petraeus Smear?

Like why did Obama find it in his self righteous self to condemn Don Imus while harboring Rev Wright in his ranks?

Like why did Obama complain that corporations wanted to go to China..because it looks cool...and yet also wants to increase capital gain taxes pushing even more corporations overseas...?

Like why did he say Iran was a tiny threat..yet Al Qaeda is deemed a threat and is smaller than Iran...?

Like didn't it bother you that he changed his stance on the 2nd Amendment and FISA?

I mean...I ask those questions...and you never answer them directly...so I have to use language that you are capable of understanding...Like "How many Obama Supporters can fit in an Obama Clown-Mobile?"

So please write me an example...of a question that would be critical of Obama and suited for your liking? Do I need to polish it up and make you feel good about yourself? What? Show me your good example.

Obama followers are generally very fragile psychologically.  There is no way you can avoid "offending" them.

Your questions are not offensive at all, they just reveal your partisanship.  You may be giving yourself too much credit.

Obama's stance on what the government's role should be in regulating big business, in promoting better energy and environmental policies, and in restoring our image in the rest of the world is why he has my vote.  He does seem to change his mind, but that's what politicians do.  In the end, I know he will be a much better president than Bush ever was.

Response:  If you have ever been outside of the US in the past few years, you would realize how much the rest of the world detests our foreign policy (especially since the Iraq War, when we defied the vote in the UN).

I am hoping that Obama will enact much tougher laws toward the oil companies (and other energy corporation) and not let them write our energy policies, which is what Bush and company have done.  Is that specific enough for you?

As for the Reverend Wright, he was simply stating that our country has a racist past (do you know about Bombingham, by the way?).  Wright also made note of our imperialism.  Do you know how many times the US has intervened in Latin America since 1898?

Somehow I think insulting the posters doesn't seem a great idea if you truly want answers.  Given the general level of discourse on Y/A Politics, I certainly don't expect much in the way of stimulating intellectual discourse.  Why not just accept the answers you get will suck or fail to live up to your standards?  Unless you're planning to offer s*x as an enticement, your options are limited.  But to answer your question, why not just ask why, Obama?  Why Obama?  Simple, easy to understand, and allows the fine folks here to grace you with pearls of wisdom.  Or would that be a pearl necklace like the ZZ Top song?  Sorry, I must be having a moment.  Enjoy your evening.

Look, I dislike Obama more than you do, but what offends them is their lack of intelligence when you ask a question that requires it.  Their only natural defense is to start yelling and repeat things 100 times over and over again while waving their hands in the air and saying "Oh no she didn't!?"  Kind of like every episode of COPS.  They're all ghetto and don't understand much. That's how they were tricked into voting for an even bigger idiot than George Bush.

To avoid insults, you can ask knowledgable questions and not rely on media sound bites to 'make your point'.  For one, inflating your tires properly helps you get better mileage, and thus reduces the need for oil.  While it may be a minor amount, the point Obama makes is that we need a comprehensive energy plan, and there are things we can ALL do, even the general public.

Second, if you study geopolitics, Iran is more of an obstacle to imperialism, not a threat.  If the US corporations want to use the CIA and military to take over their natural resources, Iran makes it clear they will resist.  So, if you interpret self-defense as a threat, then yes, Iran is a threat.  Also, Al Qaeda is not a country, so you cannot compare a group of people with a nation.  Al Qaeda members believe in defense and offense of the infidels, while Iranian leadership believes in defense.

Finally, EVERY candidate has to dance a fine line when dealing with the media, which is prone to taking little clips and showing them frequently, and uninformed, easily swayed citizens think they are the real news.  McCain has had his share of gaffs, too.

I would like to know if Obama or McCain is going to retain any member of Bush's cabinet, specifically from the security council.  I would also like to know how they will staff the administrative departments, such as the FDA, FEMA, Dept of Ed, etc.

No, all questions are legit as long as they remain free of profanity/insults and or yelling. As for you questions, there is no detail of what or how you want your answers.

1. Fact: properly inflated tires save gas, wear and tear and avoid tire malfunction like the ford/firestone debacle that resulted in deaths due to the fact people did not read manufactures warnings.

2. Moveon.org has not tie whats-over to Obama. Moveon.org has the same right as you to critique goverment as they choose.

3. Imus made the comment before Wright. Both knuckle heads have the same right as everyone to critque, unfortunetly one was Obamas 'mentor', much like 'your' mentor and cannot control what they say, yet can distance himself as he did. Often times it is your friends speach that leave you speachless.

5. Iran is tiny as it has no international reach other then what we grant it - and we granted them a lot when we installed a govn't in the late 60's that could not hang on and got easily overturned.
