Liberal *News* Story:

"Obama would provide $80 billion in tax breaks, mainly for poor workers and the elderly, including tripling the Earned Income Tax Credit for minimum-wage workers and higher credits for larger families."

Miss Ann Coulter Responds: " [So called] Tax breaks for the poor means welfare, not a tax cut, for the simple reason that the poor don't pay taxes. Not the elderly poor, not the middle aged poor, not the young poor. The "Earned Income Tax Credit" is a welfare program that simply requires the welfare recipient to have some income".

Why can't Democrats (or the AP) be honest in their language?

  1. Why does USA have so many desperately poor people in it?

It seems from the IRS statistics that at more than 1/3 of your wage earners do not earn enough money to pay income tax on.

Ann Coulter is not a smart woman, just a shrill one.

  2. I rarely agree with Coulter, but she is 100% correct.

Earned Income is nothing more than welfare, there are people who deliberatly work part time menial jobs so they can continue to live in subsidized housing, receive welfare and of course the EARNED INCOME CREDITS, money for nothing if you will.

  3. Get em A.C.!  Ann Coulter scares me sometimes, but she is dead-on with this.

Nixon was also a crook (sad that he claimed he was a Repub) who faced impeachment if he didn't resign.  I wouldn't trust anything HE signed into law.

And I would rather spend money on a war than spend money on people who lean on the crutch of welfare.  Some of these people never get off that ****.  Ya know I watched Montel *roll em up and smoke em again* Williams several years ago and they were talking about welfare and people who are lifelong dependents.  Some chick got up with her overfed *** and said, I quote, "Welfare was made for me and my kids..."  Um, NO.

Fact:  During the Depression, Welfare came into being as TEMPORARY relief until the Depression ended and people got back on their feet, found jobs.  It's not meant for you to sit your lazy *** on a couch all day, nickle and diming us hard-working taxpayers.

Welfare should be abolished.  Give the people in the 21st century better alternatives--such as more job training programs and things of that nature.  And if you would do an honest days work, even if it was for a small wage, we wouldn't have all these illegals running around doing the jobs other unemployed people think they are too good to do.

Just my rather harsh, honest opinion.

Hey, Wingo, tell the dems to stop taxing the **** out of everybody all the d**n time, and then we might have more money.

And speaking of feral girls, anyone seen this story?  I bet you anything that this d**n no-good mother ***** was collecting the good people of Florida's money while her poor baby lay rotting:

That's the kind of **** that collects welfare all their d**n life.  Send Sarah Palin down to get HER *** >:)

  4. Coulter is right.Welfare is destroying this country. We have some families who's been on welfare for generations, they have children and don't take care of them. I've seen children who were almost feral in their behaviours bc the family only had them to draw a check. Not to mention the whole world owes me a living attitude that many life long welfare recipients seem to have. Liberals like Obama,Pelosi,Hillary, and Reid would like nothing better than to turn us into a nanny state.

  5. The idea is to get money into circulation, into the economy.  That makes people buy things which means jobs are created to make those things and sell them.  Welfare is the worst way to do it.  Creating jobs is the best way but the government can only go so far employing people before it starts becoming less efficient and more wasteful.

Ann Coulter is right in describing this as a form of welfare but I don't hear her offering an alternative solution.  She never offers solutions, she merely complains.  I won't say its a great idea but if Ann can't suggest a better one then she really isn't contributing anything.  Which is par for course for her anyway.

  6. Coulter is right on this one. Paying extremely poor people to make babies is bad for children and bad for society.

We can look at countries around the world. The ones that are worse off are the ones where the poor are making too many children.

To Right Wingnut: The poverty rate is decreasing. What causes most of the poverty in the U.S. is people having children out of marriage and people having children after they illegally entering the country (to avoid deporation). Statistics show 75% of all welfare goes to single parent households. Also they show children raised in single family households are more likely to use drugs, go to prison, and to be high school dropouts.

Obama's plan would only encourage single parenting. His plan has nothing to do with making  America better.

  7. Why can't anyone running for office be honest?

Oh that's part of the job description.

  8. Ann Coulter, she is brilliant and lays it right out there with no fluff or garbage to sift through to get her message.  Obama talks alot of nothing so it is very hard to discern what he is really saying.  His policies across the board are a mess, and if he was able to implement them they would destroy those he claims to be helping.  Trickle down economics is the truth to what he is proposing and we would not only be paying higher taxes, yet we would ultimately see a significant rise in unemployment yet an increase in goods and services.  He would like nothing more then to tax the h**l out of all of us and watch us struggle and he will be sitting up high laughing at all of us.

  9. If they don't pay taxes, then yes, it is welfare.  You can't call a transfer payment a tax cut if the person receiving the payment doesn't pay taxes.

Did you know that until a few years ago, soldiers stationed overseas could not claim the earned income credit?  It was the Republicans that got the rule changed.

  10. I agree with Obama.

30 years ago  I was a divorced Mom raising a child alone with no support from his deadbeat Dad.

Nixon signed the earned income tax credit bill into law.

It is a good law and it should be expanded.

I am more concerned about 10/12 billion a month spent on a war based on lies than I am about money being spent for citizens of this country.

Coulter is a whiner and makes her money selling hate. Unfortunatly, some people lap up her garbage.

  11. I have learned that poltics are experts at masking their words and hiding information in plain veiw.
