Obama VS McCain who ya got?

To be honest they both seem like decent guys. I know for a fact that whoever wins it will be a step up from what we have now. But what makes one better than the other?

you wont find opinions or rhetoric or anything like that. it is the library of congress.

then type in your candidates names and you can see exactly who has done what. Exactly what each one has voted on and introduced into congress.

You can also see the rollcalls for how many days months and years each one has actually dont their job.

see, no matter what a candidate says, they can NOT hide from what they have done in congress.

Obama ram a commercial on tv last month, it lasted a week. He states, "Mccain voted for the failed bush / cheney energy bill of 2005 that gave billions to the oil companies."

So, I go and check that bill out.

Found that mccain voted "nay" "no" to that bill. Obama on the other hand voted "yes" to that bill. PLUS after looking at the sponsors and authors found obama was the cosponsor of that bill! He actually is a co author on that bill! he worked with cheney to make that bill.

of course obama didnt tell you that in his commercial.

Then obama runs a commercial a week later saying, "Mccain voted on a bill to store nuclear waist in the Yucca mountain area."

so I go to the library of congress and see that that bill was on the floor twice.

The first time, mccain voted no, the second time he voted yes.

Obama on the other hand voted yes to that bill BOTH times!

Of course, in his commercial he didnt tell you that!

anyone with or without a brain can find this info out.

So, obama to me does NOT have honor.

mccain has never said his opponent has voted on something that he also voted for.

after carefully looking over who has done waht, and then what they say in their campaigns, I have to go mccain. Mainly because he doesnt tell you something about the other guy that he is also guilty of.

I seriously feel obama does think americans can either access that library or that he thinks most americans are just too stupid to actually look anything up.

I watched obama at a rally yesterday, he spent 45 minutes carrying on about how palin was a bad choice and how bush screwed up the country and how mccain was too busy bashing him to talk about issues.

45 minutes went by and obama himself didnt talk about ONE issue!

Instead, that whole time was devoted in saying mccain wont talk about issues.

This is the real obama when he is not televised.

I have personally watched several rallies of obamas. They have all been the same.

he spends his time crying victim and never says what he will do.

the obamabots in here just say, "well goto his site to see his issues"

I watched his acceptance. I watched all the DNC stuff. I watched each and every speaker get up and slam the republicans.

Obama in his speech said a generic version of what he planned, of course not one thing in detail and then spent ALL the rest of his time bashing bush and mccain and telling you how bad it is in america.

I have my own ears and eyes. I do NOT need told how things are or were. I need to know what he will do to make it better.

I can also find things to admire about both of them though neither inspires me a lot.

The more I read about Obama's proposals, however, it's clear he has very socialistic plans for the country which would be disastrous.  He's far closer to Hugo Chavez than Hillary Clinton in terms of his economic policies.

So I've found someone to vote against.  But not someone to vote for.

Strange that political races always seem to descent into 'I like X candidate because he seems genuine/has a nice smile/takes his kids to soccer practice' etc etc. Who gives a f*ck if Obama is has cute kiddies or McCain looks like your Grandpa - cast your vote based on your opinion of their political stances.

McCain is no patriot.  He'll just use the frigging military to solve all his problems!  That's the WRONG thing for America!  We need to develop alliances and stand strong against terrorist nations.  OBAMA WILL DO THIS.
