Obama and "change"??

i've heard a few people saying that they're wondering what the "change" is that obama is talking about and concerned about whether it is a good or bad "change". also they're saying that he wants money put into "social programs" but isn't that a good thing? it sounds like it if you ask me, but why is that worrying (some) people? i don't think he's calling for "radical change" so why are some people worried about that word?

  1. FYI, the New Deal was a failure. The Great Society was an even bigger failure.  Obama preaching change and offering what history has shown didn't work.  Then he gets Mr. Washington insider himself, Joe Biden to reform the government?  I'm sorry but I ain't buying!

  2. BECAUSE THAT MONEY THAT HE WANTS TO PUT INTO SOCIAL PROGRAMS WILL BE IN THE FORM OF HIGHER TAXES TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.THATS WHAT PEOPLE ARE WORRIED ABOUT.HOW ABOUT CONTROLLING THE ILLEGAL SURGE AT OUR BORDER.IF HE IS GOING TO RAISE TAXES,DO THAT FIRST.BUT YOU WONT HEAR EITHER OBAMA OR MCCAIN TALK ABOUT THAT WHICH IS ONE IF NOT THE BIGGEST ISSUE THAT THREATENS OUR COUNTRY.

  3. Because they're too shallow to look into it and see what it means.

  4. Because more social programs mean more taxes. Who do you think is going to pay for it?

Wake up and smell the anti-christ.

  5. Well, putting money in "social programs" sound nice, but we need to know how he is going to do it. What kind of "change" and how is what he'll have to explain in the debates and make it clear. If he can do that, he can win over a lot of votes.
