Who doesn't think we could have gotten him in the first days of the Afghan Invasion.

By letting him go it allowed us to have our way in the region and also the ensuing attack against Iraq.

Other than killing al quida, now proven to impossible ,it's a cancer, and the humanitarian face of the Afghans, Afghanistan has nothing we need,

NO oil, natural resources, tech it's a boulder strewn,,wasteland that can barely be irrigated and grow enough food to feed it's own natural population. They require open range to graze what ever sheep they haven't eaten yet.

If we wanted him we would have gone into Pakistan to get him. the outrage would have been over by now and we would have paid some local tribal leaders a few bucks and they would have gone away happy.

  1. Al quida??? What?

  2. You can't capture a dea man. Al Queda is dying quicklly but there are as many factions of them as there are sands of the sea. Who we are fighting are insurgents from Iran and Syria in Iraq and many other factions of terrorists in Afghanistan. None re lead by Osama Bin Laden, None even have a leader. They are just a bunch of lost souls fighting for their common cause. who ever is against the West can join them. Really, its not a matter if Bin Laden is captured or not, These people are a cancer, yes I agree, I dont see any reason for so many countries to be fighting in Afghanistan  and Iraq other than to keep the terrorists and jihadist out of their own countries.

  3. Whatever you feel about the wars or politics in general, I would just like to ask if anyone has ever heard of "Google Maps".

I remember when I was in grade school (mid 80s probably) I saw a black and white photo, taken from a satellite, of a Russian soldier in Red Square.  You could read the name of the cigarettes in his hand.

Now, if we had THAT technology back in the Cold War, what do we have now?

If we just had a Satellite that was accessible to stoned college kids and Minute Men Volunteers, dont you think that SOMEONE could have located a 6'6 terrorist with body guards and a dialysis machine?

We have been in The War Against Terror (t**t) for longer than the US was in WWII!!  We could help to defeat the Germans, Japanese, and Italians in less time than we can clear the airport from Baghdad to the airport or find Bin Laden with a 50 million dollar bounty, billions spent a month, and all of technology and loss of civil liberties stateside that you could ask for.

I know it sounds a bit kooky.....but think about it for a second.
