I watched this video where Obama calls his grandmother a typical white person. If I called someone a typical black person, would I be called racist ? Why did Obama condem Imus but not Wright ? Why won't he wear the American flag ? Here's video of his explanation..

  1. u forget he's half white.  i doubt white people around u would care if u called u're own grandmother a typical white person.  u're too focused on what he's not instead of what he is.

  2. Yeah, because she told him she was a racist.  A lot of people thought that was pretty typical for white women.

    Maybe today, things are different.

  3. I see nothing wrong with it.

  4. Well, was she ?

  5. can't we all just get along,,,,everybody is "typical"..

  6. I REALLY DONT CARE HOW SHE CALED HER GRANDMOTHER, I PREFER TO SEE WHAT HIS CAMPAIGN IS ABOUT, WHAT MATTER IS HOW TO GET THE US OUT OF ITS PROBLEMS, AND NOT BABLE TALK THAT MANY PEOPLE PUT THEIR EYES ON, THERE ARE MORE IPORTANT THINGS TO TALK ABOUT, I AM YOUR TYPICAL WHITE, SO WHAT I WAS NOT OFFENDED, IST NOT A BIG ISSUE EVEN TO DICUSS

  7. But Obama did condemn Wright.  I suspect he was more offended by Wright's diatribes than he let on, too.  He's so mild-mannered.

If he gave the example of his grandmother as a "typical" white person, it shows a high regard and affection for white people.  Of course you can't really call anybody "typical" of their race if you want to get picky; but I thought it was all right.

And now he's even wearing the flag; see, he can do it if he tries.

BTW I am deeply opposed to Obama's political positions, but he seems to be a decent individual.
