Question:

Obama campaign highlights Palin's 'zero' experience?

Let's see,

Obama had been a Senator for about 90 days when he declared he would run for the Presidency (he just couldn't register as a candidate until 2007). He was a state senator from the south side of Chicago for 7 years prior to somehow being elected to the US Senate. His previous employment was as a "community activist" and "civil rights lawyer" (whatever those mean).

Is being a state senator in IL a part-time job like in most states? I am asking this seriously (not just a dig against Obama) - does anyone know?

Palin has been the Governor of America's geographically largest state for 2 years, and she was a town Mayor or city council member for many years before that. She is also running for Vice President and not President.

How is it the Obama campaign has the gall to claim Palin has zero experience - especially compared with Obama?

  1. Obama was also state Senator, and community organizer, and was earning a Harvard Law degree in Foreign Policy while Palin was participating in a beauty contest, so go figure...Besides that, what if McCain dies, is she qualified to be President?  NO WAY!!!

And running a primary with the only woman capable of being President of the United States, gives him the kind of administrative experienced needed to run a country.

  2. Go Marry McBush and get killed in Iraq for gods sake.

  3. Alaska!  It may be big but it's small in population.  The mayor job she held before had a population of 5,000 people!  Plus, she went to college in Idaho.  I-da-ho or Harvard, make the choice

  4. mayor and city council?  of a town of 5,469 (in 2000).  talk about a part time job. and she's under investigation for her actions as governor.

  5. The obamaniacs are like the pot that calls the kettle black.

  6. And your point is? All this t*t for tat makes not a strong

VICE PRESIDENT. She is the runner up next to the runner up...lol

    VETERANS FOR OBAMA

  7. Every single day here on Yahoo Answers, McCain supporters asked questions and gave answers endlessly about Obama's lack of experience in comparison to McCain's.  I think what you're objecting to is a valid response from the Obama camp regarding "experience."

Don't be a hypocrite and act all outraged over a discussion that your side started.

  8. Yes, the pot calling the kettle black.

    LMFAO.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

JM ain't as dumb as some think.

  9. all is fair in love and POLITICS!! get over it, they did it to him.. why can he not do it back?

  10. Palin deals with the russians daily. much more experience then Obama

great choice. ex Hillary supporter. I have seen her on Glenn beck very smart.

  11. Just because Alaska is the largest state in size doesn't mean it has a large population. I know Barack is inexperienced but he's got more experience than Sarah. Barack is the lesser of two evils if the only choices are mccain and obama.

  12. I agree.  If you read her Wikipedia profile you'll see that there was even one instance where she had to go toe-to-toe with a local dairy farmer in order to shut down a creamery!  If that doesn't qualify you to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, then I don't know what does!

  13. It's propaganda and more indoctrination for his supporters.  She ran a state.  He was a community activist and it's now become the most violent community in the country.  He's not going to get very far with this -- except with his cultists.

  14. Sarah is NOT Hillary; sorry, but HRC supporters will NOT vote for McCain/Palin.

  15. You are correct. She has been an elected official for 16 years and is the only candidate on either ticket with executive experience.

  16. I understand that it's difficult for under-educated Republicans to grasp the concept but, let me try to explain it to you. His point was that the McCain camp has been criticizing HIM this entire time for lack of experience and now McCain has gone and chosen someone with even less experience. Get it now?

  17. YES I can't believe the audacity of the Obama campaign comparing his experience to her being the mayor of a small village, moosehunting, pageants, high school basketball, and 2 yrs as governer of 700,000 Americans. Just who do dems think they are?

  18. That's the irony.... Palin is far more better than Obama... They preach about change. This is a great change Mc Cain has done... This cracks me up.

  19. Ironic, isn't it?  Democrats will ignore their own faults and use them against the GOP as if they never existed for them.  And yes, state government jobs are part-time country wide.  Some elected official just 'know' how to get over and stretch it into a year long scam.

  20. History has proven that many of the greatest leaders and innovators have been people with little or no "experience".  You can never make large leaps of progress on anything without bringing in new ideas and new ways of looking at things.  This includes government, science, business, etc.  The experience argument is the dumbest possible argument you can make against either party.  There are hosts of "experienced" business leaders with massive companies and resumes who have been completely dominated by newcomers such Google, Facebook, EBay, etc. that came from college kids with NO experience, but BIG ideas.  A person's experience is important, but not necessarily for a president or leader.  Either president is going to have a whole host of people with more experience and knowledge about every issue to give them information.  The best LEADER is the person who knows how to surround themselves with the best people who are giving them information and ideas that they need to make decisions.  The best leader is the one who knows how to most effectively use these people and other tools to get the job done.  The person with the higher intelligence and better JUDGEMENT and REASONING skills will be the one who makes the best president.

  21. Yes...but but i dont think Obama will literally deteriorate while in office like McLame..then what does that leave us with? that even LESS experienced VP McLame just announced?

  22. How does it feel republicans? This is all McCain has said about Obama and now the tables are turned. Does it p*** you off?

Why on earth would your candidate do the very thing he has ranted about for months?

  23. (1) let's get serious this show the lack of good judgment on McCain part.(2)Palin is no Hillary Clinton she only been a Governor for 2 years and we are talking about Alaska where the wild life out number the peoples 20 to 1.(3) i wouldn't  feel comfortable having Palin running this country in a case where something happening to McCain .3) Palin is under a ethic investigation .4) We know that Biden is ready to lead on day one if something ever happen to Obama. I personally think McCain just handed the presidency to OBAMA.

  24. "How is it the Obama campaign has the gall to claim Palin has zero experience - especially compared with Obama?"

Well, don't forget that they're members of the Democrat Party, Home of the Big Lie! :-))

  25. 1. Just because you are governor of America's geographically largest state doesn't matter. She's a governor, okay.

    2. I don't see where becoming a city council member can be really considered "experience." Personally, I think city council members aren't really equipped to become vice presidents. Personal opinion.

    3. I believe Obama is more upset that a major attack on his campaign was that he was inexperienced, and then they have Palin for VP. Double standard?

  26. Took the words right out of my mouth!

    I agree 100%.

  27. You conservatives crack me up about Obama. He went through a tough primary to get the nomination, has a deep background in state government and sufficient experience in the senate.

  28. You know the dems - anything that plays. And this afternoon's media's been playing the same tune. Already know whose corner they're in.
