He is normally an eloquent speaker but he tried to shove too much information on each question as if he only had this once chance to do good!

Just because you and like minded people think so doesn't mean he did (blow it, that is). If you prefer a folksy 70something guy who is good at telling stories and sees the world in black and white over an energetic and sophisticated guy who can see the nuances in today's world end speak about them eloquently and with meaning, by all means, go ahead and vote for McCain - you'll richly deserve the outcome.

it is obvious that you are a novice in politics. i just retired but you have no idea how hard to speak to large groups when dealing with various issues. when you have various subjects you must remember that you get the good and bad, some questions are framed and answered in the context given. i also work in law so knowing how to answer is also important. there will never be an issue which you will be 100%. back when i was a paralegal and busting my butt and going to school i thought i knew it all, i was lucky that i made a real stupid mistake which almost ended my career. i was pulled aside and talked to by a senior partner who gave me advice and became my mentor, experience comes from also observation, there is no instruction book for experience. i learned that in Vietnam. what would you do if you handled 911 ?  we can tell the world exactly where Bin Laden is but we can't get him?  at the moment there are many more important matter like the economy of this country. Iraq, has the people to deal with their own matters now, the rest is not relevant. people will vote for Obama because of what he stands for and that will cancel it all out.
