because the hype is dying down finally! people got all caught up in the idea of a so called black president then realized he is white  with a kenyan father.he is not your traditional black American by any means.and bi racial folks who have a black parent and a white parent are not african americans,they are just simply americans! i am tired of people defining them as this when they are their parents grandparents are even great grandparents and even farther down the line have never had any direct link to africa.besides how many africans sold their own people into slavery to other africans before the other country's in the world bought their slaves from them??/ do other country's who also had african slaves refer to their people as african brits or  african germans or african mexicans or whatever???? i don't think so! so people want to be politically correct then stop using this non term any more it is as fake as the so called name neveah! good luck!
