  1. I don't believe that Senator McCain has a chance, for several reasons but the main one is this:

In the last two years, the Democratic party has increased its number of registered voters by about 10% while the republican party numbers have dropped by about 1%.  Before this change, the Democratic party had 15% more registered voters than the republican party.  So now the republican party needs a bigger cut of the Independent vote to win.  Before they only needed about 65% of the Independent vote to win, now they will need over 80% of the Independents to win.  That's not likely to happen after 8 years of the republicans rubber stamping and cheering the Bush administration's defecating on the Constitution, pillaging the treasury and general lawlessness.

  2. I would really hate to think that the US will end up having the same old c**p for 4 more years. It may be a bit unnerving to vote for an "unknown"....but at this point I'd rather take my chances....change is good....the road we've been on for the past 8 years is NOT good.  So do we want McSame, or do we want change??

  3. Too close to call.

The mainstream media has anointed Kerry, Dukakis and Gore Presidential winners but it hardly panned out. They even had the Carter/Reagan landslide predicted to be a dead heat.

I do not think that their propaganda pays off, they are preaching to the leftist choir. It may give them an ego boost but much of America is conservative and the Europeans cannot vote, as Kerry is painfully aware.

  4. I am so glad the Europeans don't have a choice.. It is funny how people seem to think this holds any weight. I think people are growing tired of Obama.. Also, like I have said many times there are a lot of people who will be suportive for Obama but when it comes to election day they will stay home.

The Dems thought that Gore had it in the bag, and they also thought that Kerry had it in the bag. I think we are just seeing a repeat of 2004 where Kerry got it handed to him.

Well, I guess it's a good think Europeans can't vote.

Litteraly speaking we can vote... but not in US elections. I want to correct something: Europeans don't think he will be the next US president, we just hope he will.
