Obama is running for president?

and Palin is running for Vice President. This is what we are supposed to remember and this is why her experience is not at issue and why we shouldn't scrutinize her too closely, etc. If that is true, then why is the most recent republican ad a comparison of Palin and Obama? Shouldn't they be comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges, i.e. comparing Obama to McCain and Biden to Palin? You can't just flip the script because you think that Palin is more charismatic and attractive than McCain. He's still the candidate and no matter how much attention Palin is getting. Am I off base with this?

Ah, but you're overlooking that Palin is part of a very clever plan by the neo-cons to put a rabid right-winger back into the Presidency.  It was a surprise even to McCain.  They maneuvered him into choosing her - someone that he hadn't really met and didn't truly vet.

If elected, they'll marginalize McCain with Palin just as Cheney did Bush.

The Democratic ticket is upside down. Obama and Palin are compared because they are about the same age and have about the same experience. McCain and Biden are also very much alike.

mccain is 72 and has already had multiple bouts with cancer... Palin in one heartbeat or heart-attack from being in control of the button... I think we have every right to question her experience.

Yeah, weird isn't it.

The media only reports on the trick ponies.  That's why Obama got all the attention.  So John got a trick pony and it worked.

Seriously, John and Cindy have a lot going for them but they were still ignored.

Sarah has spark and life.  She is strong and attractive so she is bringing attention to the Republicans.  She is CHANGE.  (now where did I hear that?)
