Obama is stepping in to stop the Slander, ?Thank you senator?

He just announced on CNN that he is in way way supporting the slander on Sarah and her family!

CNN is mud slinging and trying to tear Sarah apart, like a pack of rabid wolfs!

Is that even legal?

I can admire that Obama made the statement.Apparently many (ok..not ALL..as to not offend--fair enough) of his own supporters appear to be his worst enemy in  this. Those who have chosen to engage in the slander, the hateful words and deamonizing of Palins daughter are only hurting the candidate they profess to hold such a high opinion of. I got all kinds of c**p for asking a similar question..however--I took the same stance with the republicans(again..not ALL) who were bashing Obamas kids during the Democratic convention.It was not acceptable then..and its not acceptable now.

It is classy of Senator Obama to say what he said about Governor Palin's daughter.  I hope his more radical supporters listen to his request.

If I may be so bold, I understand, reading some of what is posted on here sometimes, why some of the founding fathers thought that not everyone should vote.

CNN and MSNBC are a pack of rabid wolves...esp. MSNBC.  They are ridiculous and Gov. Palin's daughter's pregnancy isn't anybody's business but hers and the baby's daddy's family's business.  They are, after all, getting married.  It shows that Gov. Palin really does put her money where her mouth is about being pro-life, just like when she had a downs syndrome baby.  So they all need to shut up about it already.

I'm glad Obama stepped in and made it clear that he is not supporting the smear campaign going on.  He is a fair man and that's why i think he should be the next president.  If it was the other way around i'm sure the conservatives would have ran with the story.  Remember Mc Cain's nasty remarks about Chelsey Clinton?  What did the poor girl ever do to him?  She is classy and has never did anything wrong unlike the Bush twins who ran a mess during their teen years.

Slander is when people make up salacious lies. The fact is the woman's daughter is pregnant. This is no lie. Someone else can go for McCain's VP. She's not in the position to do it now. This is not judging, this is common sense.

People call Obama everything that he's not and its not questioned. McCain never denounced any of these falsehoods (Obama's muslim and a bunch of lies) publicly. This just shows you what kind of MAN Obama is. McCain is supposed to represent these values, but he's failed trying to get his way into the white house.

Problem with Sarah is she's been going on and on about family values and putting down others for the same thing she's in.

How can your family be first in this type of crisis? There's no way I would be running for president if I had a daughter that needed me. No way. I don't want anybody running my country when their children are in trouble. You can't do a good job of both. Down syndrome and pregnant child? Someone will get the shaft. Either her kids or America. That makes it my business when you are playing with my country's livelihood.
