Go up against, I didn't know it was a fight club.  Obama had no choice, his polling numbers showed he needed to get on FOX.  He ducked O'Reilly as long as he could, now with the Republican Convention he thought it was a good political move.  McCain will get on Larry King, he has been on John Stewarts program many times.

McCain rejected CNN because they outright insulted Sarah Palin. It was a simple and effective way of letting them know that biased and bigoted reporting will not be rewarded. Obama is just plain terrified that if he doesn't go on O'Reilly he will be painted by O'Reilly's words instead of his own. McCain has already talked to every journalist who wanted to talk to him. He is the most open and accessible candidate in history. But he will also stand firm and face direct insults with strength and integrity.
