Question:

Obama or McCain? Do Filipinos in general have a preference?

Barack Obama is not from Kenya. His Father was. He's from America. The Presidential race between Obama and McCain is not and has never been about black vs white. I don't know anybody who sees it that way except maybe some old school stalwart rednecks. It's about the "haves" vs the "have-nots".

  1. Bush & Cheney, (any maybe McCain) should be hanged for treason for the economic pillaging and damage they have done to my country's reputation around the world.  Obama "gets it" and he's the one who speaks what I am thinking.  I'm not a Filipino but I'm going there to live soon because I can't afford to live in Amerika any more.  Even if Obama wins (and I think he will by a landslide) it'll take years to fix the damage the republicans have done.  I'm a 53 year old retired US Marine and I'm not as stupid as they think we all are. I know what I'm talking about. I've seen a lot of presidents come and go.  It sickens me to see these criminals run roughshod over people with impunity.  Democracy my a.s.s.!!!

  2. Obama's my guy.

McCain used to whip african slaves during his 20s.

  3. That would depend on the Immigration policy reforms they have to offer. I am not sure where the two stand on the matter.

Pinoys would go for the guy who would up the chances of their relatives in the US not getting deported or maybe even getting citizenship. Every Filipino clan has at least one family relative in the US.

But since Obama is of mixed heritage and hails from Kenya, pinoys would likely go for him.

  4. bob barr 08

  5. Obama

  6. i don't know about other filipinos but i prefer the mccain-palin team.

  7. I'm a Filipina-American and have been voting as Democrat since '94, so my choice is Obama & Biden

  8. McCain.  I like white girls and I think Palin is a hottie.  Good choice on his part.....

  9. I've made my choice since he declared his candidacy in January 2007.

I said it then, and I'm saying it now:  The thought of a female President of the world's only superpower and leader is UNTHINKABLE.

    OBAMA '08.

  10. the arroyo government for sure has its own candidate to support.

on my part, obama is a big leap for america. for the blacks in particular.

america needs to try new waters. though all politicians are the same, obama might make a difference.

  11. mccain
