Undoubtedly...I think the whole mood of the country improved just after his nomination acceptance speech!  I've heard people quoting him like crazy and they are very hopeful for our country.  It will take time, a lot of hard work, and sacrifice on our part, but it will happen.  We will get our country back.

Basically you got to ask yourself what will McCain and Palin do?

I almost died laughing when I head them talk about change. What are they going to change? Voting with bush 95% of the time means you vote with bush 95% of the time. This means you will be 95% the exact same as Bush. McCain's economic policy is the exact same, and his stance on Iraq is keep in there 100 years. These are the two issues most americans care most about right now and want a change.

He will only be able to do so much. There are people (politicians)  and others who will definitely do they can to stop him. People did not want to end the Vietnam war and did not like other of President Kennedy's policies and he was assassinated.  But at least Senator Obama knows what is wrong in this country and he is willing to try to change it.

Obama said he has the American people's best intentions at heart and his ideas and plans are to give Americans their country back, given how it was taken away from most us by the manipulating lies of the Bush administration. He said he puts the Americans needs ahead of his own, unlike the Bush administration who gave the most to those who needed it least and the middle and lower classes paid for it dearly. Millions of people lost their jobs, their homes and everything that was important to them because the wealthy Republicans live in their own reality and could care less about your average person. Even today, they announced the unemployment rate for August was 6.9%, the highest it's ever been.

I believe that Obama  will do everything he can to help the American people with the social programs he would like to enact, such as health care reform, education reform, which would give everyone a fair shot at having a good education, his energy reform in working to find alternative energy resources, give incentives to big corporations to keep their jobs in America for American workers and punish the big corporations who continue to outsource jobs.

It would be foolish for any presidential candidate to promise the world, as McCain has done, but instead to assure Americans they are the primary focus as Obama has done.

Will he make everything right? I don't know, but what I do know is he plans on changing as much as he possibly can. To make EVERYTHING better, after what Bush has done in 8 years is an enormous task to take on. But, I think Obama has his heart in it and I trust he will be a leader we can look up to, be proud of and know he is working for us.

Well yeah if he can call back our troops, cut down on defense budget and improve diplomatic ties and general image of our country to the world.. But i fear our congress might never make this happen
