Good idea, that will save you more RIGHT NOW than a vote to "drill now" which would take 7-10 YEARS to even get a DROP of oil, ZERO effect at the pumps for 7-10 YEARS, and little effect even then!

You should also change your oil and oil filter as well as your air filter. That will save you a lot more than a  "drill now" vote. 7-10 years from now your drill now oil will be sold overseas for profit, just like the oil companies s***w you now!!!

HEY! Lets make the oil companies only sell American produced oil in AMERICA!!! We can make them sell at COST!

Not that I am defending him, but it was a misinformed statement. Yes it is true that keeping proper tire air pressure will help to save on gas, but it will not lower prices alone. What these politicians are afraid to say (because it will cost them votes) is that the American people's consumption of gas, affects the price.

You rock subwm.  And might I add... if you have one of those big "A" SUV's (that our present president initiated tax incentives for to those who could afford to meet the criteria)...use some of that to off set the price you are now paying for gas.  Maybe it will stretch those 7-10 years while you are waiting for this drilling.
