Question:

Obama state senator?

"Barack Obama angered fellow Democrats in the Illinois Senate when he voted to strip millions of dollars from a child welfare office on Chicago's West Side. But Obama had a ready explanation: He goofed.

"I was not aware that I had voted no," he said that day in June 2002, asking that the record be changed to reflect that he "intended to vote yes."

So if change doesn't work, will Obama say he "intended to provide change?"

  1. That's pretty scary -I live in IL and never heard about it- yet one more of thousands of reasons NOT to vote for him..

  2. Thanks for giving me another item to ad to my gaff list.

He lost a chance a my vote a long time ago.

  3. That's a good  question.  I guess we'll have the chance to see in about 4 years.

Here is a site that has a lot of interesting info on Obama.  It's not for or against him as far as I can tell, but it will give you information that you can use in either direction.

    Have fun!  :-)

  4. Nothing shows the strength of Mr. Obama than the pettiness his opponents.

  5. Change via "goofs"!

  6. Barry sounds real conscientious, taking the eenei meenie miney moe approach to voting.  But sloppy voting was by no means his biggest transgression as a state senator - it was taking credit for the work of others.  His mentor and sponsor forced other senators to put Barry's name on bills as the author when he actually had nothing to do with them.  Barry is a creep.  Learn it now, or learn it later.
