Is it because he is an african-american man that you embrace his message? Would he have the same effect on you regardless of race?

Per the CNN biography and he grew up in white, hawaiian, and indonesian cultures. So, how does he connect with the african-americans? Or do you think that's to his advantage, he grew up in a white man's world but is physically black and he can connect with all people?

  1. he's black he's white..he could be blue or green...he still gets my votes!

don't care...his ideologies are what will win him into the white house...well that and his very reliable decision in picking biden, which is more than i can say for mccain.

    obama/biden 08

  2. This election, so long as there is a (D) behind his name, he gets my vote.

  3. I'm voting for him because of his leadership skills, not his race.

  4. Imagine just for a second, Obamas "white half" called Barry:

Barry having friendship with people from the KKK

Barry attending a Church with racist philosophies

Barry saying "black" people are bitter

Any chance he could be elected? Don't think so. Same thing, only different "color"

  5. This is why I won't vote for him

    among other reasons.

You don't get a second chance when pushing the big red button.

  6. I couldn't care less about his race....it wasn't remotely considered in my choice to support him.

  7. Yes.

His race has nothing to do with his policies.

  8. Yes I Would Still Vote For Him I Agree With Him On What Needs To Be Done And What Changes Are In Need In America Regardless Of His Race Or Color, I Would Choose Death Then To Ever Support The Republican Party!

  9. His race is immaterial to me. I support him because he is the Democratic candidate.

  10. I just wish I hadn't heard all those stories of him strangling puppies. Even if it's untrue, the horror, the humanity!

  11. Yes, I would for many reasons, but the biggest one for me is he is not McCain. I'm not supporting a candidate for his ethnicity, I am supporting a candidate for his policies. And no candidate can connect with ALL people, McCain does not connect with me on ANY level.

  12.   I would, because I'm not a racist b*****d. I would support him exactly the same of him as I do now.
