The one who believes the economy is doing well is pretty close. The fundamentals are sound. There are some issues relating to the cost of oil and the housing markets. Overall, the Dollar is stronger, oil prices are beginning to decline, and the housing market will likely remain weak for another 8 months.

Funny how the economy was rockin' for the past 7 years, but GWBush doesn't get credit. It hits a problem area, with an obvious recovery underway, yet he gets the blame. If you are intellectually honest with yourself, you'll see your argument is not sound and you're promoting rumours, innuendo, mis-information and demonstrate a lack of knowledge and understanding of the economy.

Funny too that the economy tanked a bit 1 year AFTER the Democratic party took control of Congress. GW Bush has culpability, but ignoring the facts and the role Congress plays is just not smart.
