Should we just elect their speech writers?

Even though Palin had a speech writer *which most of all the politicians now a days have* she delivered it in a way that made me believe. Since Bill Clinton this is the FIRST time I ever believed a Politician will fullfill what they say they want to have happen. She was truly amazing last night and again the FIRST time I feel excited about a new president and vice president, and especially VP. I have never seen a more excited and energized and focused VP before. Usually when the conventions come on you have to change the channel because they are so boring and they don't really mean what they say. They are usually just BS'n you to get votes. This is the first time when they are true and honest.

Someone above me writes you could see the telepromter for Palin and Obama didn't have one? Are you insane? Obama had one and everyone knows it. Even though she had one she hardly even used it. You can tell by the way someone talks if they really mean what they are saying.

That is just it.  Obama is not running for the same office as Palin.  Obama needs to keep his eye on McCain.

But he can't.  Obama's ego has been damaged and there is no way he will be able to let it go.  He is going to get in a fight with her and go toe to toe with her which is exactly what McCain wants.  Obama is an amateur and is taking his eye off the ball at a crucial moment just so he can attempt to rebuild his poor little bruised ego.

It is very clear that Obama is not tough enough to be President.

it is true that they are good at speeches, especially Obama.

I think so, especially since Obama writes most of his own speeches, and all the major ones.  My girlfriend has seen him speak live twice, and he was not reading from a teleprompter.

You could see the teleprompter at certain points in Palin's speech last night.  I will be shocked if she wrote one word of that.

ALISON:  I'll reiterate: My girlfriend has seen him speak live twice, and there was NO TELEPROMPTER EITHER TIME.  Not even a podium to hide behind.

My point about Palin is that I highly doubt she wrote her own speech, no matter how sincere she may have seemed.

I don't believe Obama wrights his own stuff other wise he would be a lot more eloquent in the interviews.

Obama wrote most of his. It was on the news. Palin didn't write hers.
